Women Aiding Women (WAW)

The Women Aiding Women program is designed to reach out to and help women from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds from the community. We work to empower women by providing them with the skills, knowledge and resources that will allow them to become independent and motivated to make positive changes in their lives.

The program is run by women for women to provide a supportive environment in which women can empower themselves by: strengthening their skills, gaining information on issues that affect them and learning about available resources that help them in their daily lives. Women are encouraged to strive to achieve their potential, learn about opportunities and build valuable social support networks.
