Women Aiding Women (WAW)
The Women Aiding Women (WAW) program is designed to assist women from all cultural backgrounds and their immediate family members, as needed. The program aims to empower women by providing them with a supportive environment where they can enhance their overall individual and family wellbeing, develop strong social networks, strengthen their skills, gain information on issues that affect them and learn about and access essential community resources that can help them in their daily lives. WAW is closely integrated with TESOC’s other programs and services and newcomer clients may also be eligible to receive support from our Settlement Counsellors.
